This newly renovated four bedroom, two bath house is nestled at the base of Mount Princeton. This getaway is secluded on two plus wooded acres and sits at an elevation of approximately 8900 feet. As you approach the cabin, you'll notice an amazing 1000+ square foot deck. Perfect for relaxing, grilling and enjoying the spectacular views. Or maybe dining al fresco with a quiet cup of coffee as the sun rises. There is a stone deck below that has an outdoor gas fire pit and is partially covered to get away from the mountain elements. You can enjoy outdoor grilling on our 4 burner gas grill and eat under the stars with outdoor seating for 10 at two tables.
While here, you'll enjoy true Colorado cabin living. It is the best of both worlds, as you'll be privately secluded in the forest, but yet close to many amazing locations and attractions. The cabin is surrounded by a national forest in the back and a state park in the front. The home is a five minute drive to Buena Vista, CO and twenty minute drive to Salida, CO. We are three mile North of the famous Mount Princeton Hot Springs and the amazing Chalk Cliffs. Several river rafting companies are within a ten minute drive on the Arkansas River. It is a forty minute drive to world class skiing at Monarch Mountain, forty-five minute drive to Ski Cooper and just over an hour to Cooper Mountain.
The main level of the home features a spacious living room complete with a wood burning fire place and a 55" smart TV. The dining room table seats 8 and an additional 4 guests can be seated at the kitchen bar. The kitchen appliances are all stainless steel, with a glass top stove, granite counter tops and a large farm house sink. The full bathroom is complete with a shower and bathtub. Master bedroom includes a queen bed with ample closet storage. The guest bedroom features a full bed and also has plenty of storage.
The lower level of the home has two additional bedrooms and another bathroom. The first bedroom has one full bed. The second bedroom has a full bed. Each room has a dresser for storage. The family room has a futon full size bed, a game table and plenty of storage for your ski or hiking equipment.
